Prices follow the purchase page (site reference: $3.99 / month,$29.99 / year, $39.99 Lifetime). There is no separate trial. Free already includes sync, capped tags, and search.

App Store: install from the store → Settings → Pro → pick a plan → Apple ID / StoreKit → entitlements apply immediately.

Direct: starcat.ink or Settings → Pro → checkout → License on this device (seats: License).

After purchase: Pro unlocks immediately; sidebar / settings show Pro; subscriptions show an end date; Lifetime stays valid within seat rules.

Notes

The wrong channel looks like “I paid but cannot restore”. MAS uses Restore; Direct uses a License.

Direct Lifetime is at most 2 Macs for personal use.
