Purchase Starcat Pro via the App Store or starcat.ink

Purchase channels

Starcat Pro is available now. Choose either channel:

Channel	Best for	Entry
Mac App Store	Managing subscriptions with your Apple ID	App Store page
Direct (website)	Users who installed the DMG from starcat.ink	Pricing on the website, or Settings → Pro in the app

Pro entitlements are the same across both channels. Prices follow the live checkout page (current website reference: Monthly $3.99 / Yearly$29.99 / Lifetime $39.99).

App Store purchase

1. Install Starcat from the Mac App Store
2. Open Settings → Pro
3. Choose Monthly / Yearly / Lifetime
4. Complete StoreKit checkout with your Apple ID
5. Entitlements take effect immediately

Website / Direct purchase

1. Open starcat.ink or Settings → Pro in the app
2. Choose a plan and complete checkout
3. The license activates on the current device (Lifetime and similar plans are subject to device seat limits — see License management)

After purchase

• Pro features unlock immediately
• Pro status appears in the sidebar and Settings
• Subscriptions show the renewal date; Lifetime is permanent (subject to device seat rules)

Free trial

There is no separate trial period. The free tier already includes Stars sync, tags (with limits), search, and other basics — use it first, then upgrade when ready.
