Stars sync, rate limits, count mismatches, cloud sync

Sync failed?

Check network → tap manual sync → watch the rate-limit countdown → restart and retry. See Sync settings.

What is rate limit?

GitHub limits API frequency. Starcat parses response headers and backs off. Wait for reset, then sync again.

New Star not showing?

Sync again; if it still missing, sign out and sign in for a fuller refresh.

Local Star count doesn't match GitHub?

Interrupted sync, deleted/private repos, or incomplete local fetch can cause this. Manual sync or sign in again.

Can tags sync automatically across two Macs?

User-data cloud sync is not shipped yet. Back up manually.
