Purpose

Copy an address like https://starcat.ink/r/{owner}/{repo}. If the other person has Starcat installed, the link should launch the app and select that repo. Use it in chat. It is not a PNG export.

How to use them

  1. Open the repo in Manage, Explore, or My projects
  2. Use Share / Copy link in detail or the toolbar (copy follows the app)
  3. Open the URL on another Mac. Universal Links / associated domains should hand off to Starcat
Older links without rid still resolve by owner/name. AI-assisted share content can reuse an existing AI summary, and you can cancel or regenerate the share link in the UI.

Notes

Without Starcat installed, the link stays on the web. starcat:// only means something on this Mac. See Desktop launchers.
